Pushing the Reset Button

OK, so it has been a year since I began this blog and it's incredible 3 entries!!! Whew exhaustingly time consuming right?

Well I am hitting the reset button and starting fresh.

I joined Weight Watchers again for like the bazillionth time. So here are my fears and hopes. That's right, right here in black and white.

Hopes;
That I can really make it and stick with it.
I can set little goals and not be too focused on the big picture.
That I can realize that a little stumble does not need to be a big fall.
I will exercise in some form every day!
I can do this live it and change my habits forever.

Fears:
I wont stick with it and in 2012 I will be posting this same blog.
I will beat myself up and set myself up for failure if I do slip.
I wont reach even my small goals.

Ok so here I go again resetting the button and motivating myself to go.

My First Bike Ride in 20 years!!

Ok so I vowed to be more active. I bought a bike at the beginning of summer but I have been terrified of riding it. Finally I broke down and decided to get onto the old bike again.

I had the kids getmy bike and bring it out front. I pushed off and did not getmy foot on the other pedal. Keep in mind I am doing this on a public street. I started swerving almost fell but caught myself.

Second attempt I made it down the street and turned around at the corner. I did this 2 or 3 times when a neighbor hollered out " let me guess you are not old enough to cross the street."

We both got a good laugh out of it.

Not a Complete Failure!!!

Well it has been 12 days since I blogged. It feels like a century has passed. I went on a church campout and had a blast. I did not lose the three pounds that I had hoped. But I did lose 2.3.

I did not get my exercise in just too lazy and no accountability. Sigh

In the process of the weekend I realized that I am very lucky to have the family that I do. So to my family I love you and thank you for the support.

Week One Goals

Hello,

I am starting a weight loss blog.

I would like to say this is done to inspire but that would be a lie.

I am doing this for me, for health and for my future.

These are my weekly goals.

I am going to excercise 30 minutes everyday twice a day.

I am going to eat healthy fruits vegetables and a healthy portion of meat.

My one week weight loss goal is 3 pounds.

I am going to blog my progress in a positive way to hold myself accountability.
